Privacy policy
This policy explains what information Smashark collects, how it is used, and the choices available to clubs and players.
Information we collect
- Account details such as your name, email address, role, country, phone number, and profile image.
- Tournament information, registrations, matches, results, and club payment links that you add to Smashark.
- Authentication information from Google when you choose Google sign-in.
- Technical information needed to secure, operate, and improve the service.
How we use information
We use your information to create and secure your account, provide tournament workflows, display relevant tournament information, communicate service messages, and improve Smashark.
Tournament and profile visibility
Tournament details, participant names, schedules, draws, and results may be visible to organizers, registered players, or the public depending on the tournament settings. Profile information is shown only where the product workflow requires it.
Payment links
Clubs may add links to third-party checkout pages. Smashark does not process or store payment card details submitted through those providers. Their privacy policies apply when you leave Smashark to complete payment.
Sharing and service providers
We share information only when needed to operate Smashark, comply with law, protect the service, or complete a user-requested workflow. Service providers may process information on our behalf under appropriate safeguards.
Retention and security
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and maintain security. We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, but no online service can guarantee absolute security.
Your choices
You can update profile information and payment links from your account. You may also request account deletion from the profile page. Some records may be retained where required for security, legal, or operational reasons.
Questions and changes
Contact Smashark through the feedback channel in the application if you have privacy questions. We may update this policy as the service changes and will revise the date shown above.
